St. Paddy's Day and other stuff

So I've been very remiss in not updating this blog.  Thought I'd post some from last week to today.  We went to Omaha's St. Patrick's Day parade which was a week before the actual day.  Charlotte liked the animals and the spectacle of everything.  I think she'll like it better next year when she eats candy.  I think I will too (lame for an adult to go after the candy unless they're getting it for themselves AND their kid:)!

Not sure what star troopers have to do with the Irish, but oh well!

Charlotte's daycare worker comes from a family of plumbers who do a toilet-themed float each year.

They would occasionally play a flushing noise and all the guys in the toilet would "swirl down":)

Suzanne was one of these plunger-holding ladies:)

The necessary toilet paper roll
Here are some during her last bath - I like to pouf out the little hair she has:).

Enjoying the pretty day out in the backyard.

This is her stuffed animal substitute for Augie.
It's probably good she has a substitute because this is what she likes to do to the cat - hug him to death!

Visit to Ohio

Mom was kind enough to use Mother's Day/birthday/anniversary money to fly Charlotte and I to Ohio for a visit and to attend a Beth Moore conference.  Charlotte went to the conference Friday night and was babysat by Poobah on Saturday morning.  Both of them survived each other, I'm happy to report. I'm sad to say I didn't take too many pictures, but the ones I got are pretty cute I think.  And I think Poobah took alot during his babysitting hours on his phone:).

Charlotte meeting Augie after he was given a 6 month baby reprieve at the grandparent's house

Not amused

Not bad for 1 try with the timer
Charlotte wears you out
I like this expression - where are you taking me, Poobah?

I liked all 3 of these - couldn't choose just one!
I love both their expressions - what a chubby smile, Charlotte!

Pllleeeaasseee give me some chips and salsa!

This is indicative of most of the day - constant motion!

Thanks Mom and Dad and Nate for a great weekend!

PS: None of the conference pics turned out really.  I enjoyed the conference alot - several things she said seemed to be directed right at me - even though they weren't on the conference's topic!  How the Lord speaks to us as individuals, right?
